Promoting climate-friendly mobility together
We want to take on economic, ecological and social responsibility and achieve even more together - with the new Deutschlandticket. For its realization, we have once again realized a cooperation with the Hamburger Verkehrsbund (hvv).
The Deutschlandticket replaces the ProfiTicket at OTTO
OTTO has been offering its predecessor - the HVV ProfiTicket - for 30 years, making it one of the first companies in Hamburg to offer its employees a discounted way to travel between home and the office. For the adaption of the Deutschlandticket, OTTO goes beyond the required minimum for the additional payment: as an employee, you only pay 30 euros per month for the Deutschlandticket instead of 49 euros (trainees already travel for 28 euros per month).
The deduction for the Deutschlandticket is offset directly against the pay slip. Once you have submitted your personal application, OTTO will take care of the rest of the process.
How does the Deutschlandticket work?
With the Deutschlandticket, you not only get to the OTTO campus in a climate-friendly way, but you can also use it to travel throughout Germany. From May 1st, you can easily reach your destination by all means of public transport with just one ticket. This does not apply to DB long-distance trains (e.g. IC, EC, ICE) or other long-distance providers such as Flixtrain.
