At OTTO, training not only means learning a profession, but also the opportunity for personal and professional development. Apprentices have the opportunity to get actively involved - be it creatively, on a voluntary basis or in exciting projects. There is room for ideas and commitment here, for example in the recruitment of new talent, for sustainability or in the representation of the interests of trainee colleagues.
We interviewed someone from the team for each project. Our trainees talk about their tasks and, above all, what motivates them to get involved. Immerse yourself in our trainee commitments !
"Hi, I'm Pascal and I'm a job ambassador and also a coordinator."

Pascal: "I really enjoy sharing my experiences and insights into training and dual study programs at OTTO with school students. It's a great opportunity to support young people in their career choices, as I know all too well my own search for the right path."
Pascal: "As a job ambassador, you guide school groups around the OTTO campus, share your experiences as an apprentice/dual and provide information about open apprenticeships - often with personal insights, which is well received. If you are interested, you can even plan events yourself as a coordinator and support other ambassadors."
"I'm John and I'm taking part in Hacker School ."

John: "I like to pass on my IT knowledge to inspire students, break down prejudices and give them an understanding of the tech world. I also appreciate the networking."
John: "As an "Inspirer", I run Hacker School courses and give talks for pupils. I am committed to promoting IT in schools and also motivate other trainees to get involved."
"I'm Ben and I'm involved in the GoodProject because the topic is really important to me"
Ben: "As an apprentice, I want to actively make a difference and appreciate the freedom to contribute my own ideas for sustainability and initiate social change."
Ben: "I help with the planning and implementation of sustainability projects, such as the Future Day or GOODhacks. I get involved in campaigns for sustainability insights, AfB events - these are events organized by AfB gemeinnützige GmbH, which promotes inclusion and ecological and social sustainability by recycling used IT hardware - or collaborations and have the opportunity to take part in conferences."
"Hi, I'm Joshua. I'm in the JAV active. It stands up for the rights and concerns of all young employees and trainees at OTTO."

Josua: "It is a matter close to my heart to actively advocate for the interests of my trainee colleagues. I value the exchange and cooperation to overcome challenges together and to network in the best possible way."
Josua: "As a team, we take care of our public image (e.g. with new trainees) and projects such as the co-design of HR tools. We are in contact with the works council and management to improve everyday life for apprentices."
" Hey, I'm Lulu and I'm part of the trainee blog of OTTO."

Lulu: "It's great to give authentic insights into our varied day-to-day training and to help future trainees find their feet."
Lulu: "I plan, coordinate and host posts. I write articles about events and projects and look for exciting topics and trainees who want to take part."
"Hey, I'm Franziska and I'm part of the Trainee Insider@TikTok team"

Franziska: "I think it's great to be creative alongside my training, to implement my own ideas in a team and to show the diversity of our training in a fun way."
Franziska: "We plan, collect ideas and shoot TikTok videos. It's always varied and exciting to implement new content."
