About me
I am a part of the e-commerce team which is responsible for the otto.de website and the effectiveness and algorithms of the corresponding searchbar. In my role as a data scientist I explore, analyse and prepare data. Besides I write for the OTTO techblog and you could even see me at meetups and conferences holding presentations. In the future me and my team want to emphasise on an improved search experience, the enhancement of the learning-to-rank models and finding better solutions for customer problems. "We want customers to exactly find the products they are looking for more quickly and accurately within millions of products on the platform. Our goal is to make ranking even smarter by means of a learning-to-rank model."
