As a working student in University Recruiting, Isabel is responsible for recruiting new interns and working students. In the interview, you can learn more about her career, how she came to OTTO, and what she likes most about her job.
After graduating from high school, I first moved to Cologne, where I studied business psychology. An internship at OTTO brought me to Hamburg after my bachelor's degree. It was important for me to gain professional experience and discover career prospects before starting my master's degree. I felt at home in my team right away and so, after another stay abroad in France, I returned to OTTO and now work as a working student in university recruiting. I'm passionate about all things HR and that's why I'm studying Human Resource Management & Digital Transformation in the master's program here in Hamburg.
OTTO offers students many opportunities to network. For example, to get to know other students, but also other departments, and to understand what tasks are part of such a large company. The support of colleagues creates an optimal environment for learning and for professional and personal development.
Honesty is the be-all and end-all for me! After all, OTTO also wants to convince you as an employer too, and that's why I think it's great if you tell us honestly what you expect from the job. I would also recommend that you find out more about OTTO and the job before the interview and don't go into the interview unprepared.
The most important thing is that you are yourself and that you want the job! We want to get to know you and feel your enthusiasm for the job and the area.
