This is how we work in logistics
Our Logistics department takes care of the logistical performance fulfillment at OTTO. We not only design and are responsible for the processes in the warehouse or in distribution, but as a distance seller we also have an eye on the logistical end-to-end processes. Logistics control is where all the strands of outbound processes come together. We are also responsible for managing inventory in the warehouses in line with planned sales and available storage capacity, and for coordinating this with our partners in the categories, the Category Support department and our logistics partners.
We are not only determined, but also always up for a bit of fun.
We are very committed and work independently. The focus is always on the customer experience, but we also keep a constant eye on the cost situation. Our department is characterized by a positive working atmosphere, we are always up for a bit of fun and act in a goal-oriented manner, constantly looking for new solutions to upcoming challenges.
With us you work on various projects and tackle special logistical challenges.
The majority of our tasks lie in the project business. This involves planning and implementing new services or coordinating the integration of new logistics partners and locations. In addition, we are responsible for ensuring operational excellence. For example, in the case of special logistical challenges, such as Black Friday promotions, we regulate the coordination between Sales and the logistics partners.
