In den USA gibt es aber noch einen wei\u00adte\u00adren Her\u00adstel\u00adler sol\u00adcher Ger\u00e4\u00adte, der hier\u00adzu\u00adlan\u00adde bis\u00adher unbe\u00adkannt war: Roku. Bereits im Jahr 2007 arbei\u00adte\u00adte Roku zusam\u00admen mit Net\u00adflix an einer Set-Top-Box, die \u00fcber das Inter\u00adnet Inhal\u00adte wie Seri\u00aden und Vide\u00ados strea\u00admen soll\u00adte. Net\u00adflix woll\u00adte damit weg vom bis\u00adhe\u00adri\u00adgen Sys\u00adtem, bei dem DVDs an Kun\u00addin\u00adnen und Kun\u00adden ver\u00adschickt wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mai 2008 kam dann mit dem Roku DVP N1000 das ers\u00adte Modell auf den Markt. Das stell\u00adte Inhal\u00adte noch bei maxi\u00admal 1.280 x 720 Pixel bereit. Somit star\u00adte\u00adten Roku und Net\u00adflix, weit vor dem Markt\u00adein\u00adstieg von Ama\u00adzon, Apple und Goog\u00adle, den Hype um Video-Strea\u00adming. Bis heu\u00adte hat Roku sei\u00adne Ger\u00e4\u00adte immer wei\u00adter ver\u00adbes\u00adsert und spielt in den USA eine sehr gro\u00ad\u00dfe Rol\u00adle. Mehr als 13 Jah\u00adre nach der ers\u00adten Box, kom\u00admen die Abspiel\u00adge\u00adr\u00e4\u00adte der Mar\u00adke nun auch nach Deutsch\u00adland \u2013 mit vier unter\u00adschied\u00adli\u00adchen Play\u00adern. Die Strea\u00adming-Box gibt es f\u00fcr rund 30 Euro. Per HDMI schlie\u00dft du sie an den Fern\u00adse\u00adher an und per Micro-USB an den Strom. W\u00e4h\u00adrend alle Kabel mit dabei sind, brauchst du noch einen Netz\u00adwerk\u00adad\u00adap\u00adter f\u00fcr die Steck\u00addo\u00adse. Hier\u00adf\u00fcr kannst du aber bei\u00adspiels\u00adwei\u00adse auch den dei\u00adnes Smart\u00adphones ver\u00adwen\u00adden, wenn die\u00adser einen USB-A-Anschluss hat.<\/p>\n<p>Bil\u00adder gibt die nur 3,8 x 1,9 x 7,6 Zen\u00adti\u00adme\u00adter (H x B x T) klei\u00adne Box in bis zu 1.920 x 1.080 Pixeln aus. Beim Ton \u00fcber\u00adtr\u00e4gt sie Ste\u00adreo, DTS Digi\u00adtal Sur\u00adround, Dol\u00adby Audio und Dol\u00adby Atmos. Nat\u00fcr\u00adlich brauchst du daf\u00fcr die pas\u00adsen\u00adde Sound\u00adan\u00adla\u00adge. Die Steue\u00adrung des Roku Express erfolgt \u00fcber die mit\u00adge\u00adlie\u00adfer\u00adte Fern\u00adbe\u00addie\u00adnung. Das ist zwar nicht son\u00adder\u00adlich schnell, aber f\u00fcr Inhal\u00adte in Full-HD aus\u00adrei\u00adchend. Er kommt auf die Abmes\u00adsun\u00adgen 2,0 x 8,6 x 3,9 Zen\u00adti\u00adme\u00adter (H x B x T) und kos\u00adtet rund 40 Euro. Daf\u00fcr bekommst du hier auch eini\u00adges mehr gebo\u00adten. Die Box ver\u00adbin\u00addest du per HDMI-Kabel mit dei\u00adnem Fern\u00adse\u00adher, schaust dann aller\u00addings Inhal\u00adte in bis zu 4K, also bei 3.840 x 2.160 Pixeln und mit HDR10 und HDR10+. Nat\u00fcr\u00adlich funk\u00adtio\u00adniert das nur, wenn dein Fern\u00adse\u00adher die Auf\u00adl\u00f6\u00adsung bie\u00adtet und die Ver\u00adschl\u00fcs\u00adse\u00adlung per HDCP 2.2 unter\u00adst\u00fctzt. Das soll\u00adte aller\u00addings bei den meis\u00adten moder\u00adnen Ger\u00e4\u00adten zutreffen.<\/p>\n<p>Auch beim The\u00adma Audio gibt es hier etwas mehr. Zwar blei\u00adben die Ton\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adte unan\u00adge\u00adtas\u00adtet, daf\u00fcr erm\u00f6g\u00adlicht der Express 4K eine Laut\u00adst\u00e4r\u00adke\u00adre\u00adge\u00adlung f\u00fcr das Ger\u00e4t und einen Nacht\u00admo\u00addus f\u00fcr etwas ruhi\u00adge\u00adre T\u00f6ne am Abend. Alter\u00adna\u00adtiv h\u00f6rst du wie\u00adder \u00fcber die Roku-App und Kopf\u00adh\u00f6\u00adrer auf dei\u00adnem Han\u00addy das Audio der&nbsp;Box.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n  <div
