Hier geht es um ein Pro\u00adto\u00adkoll, genau\u00ader um die Spe\u00adzi\u00adfi\u00adka\u00adti\u00adon eines sol\u00adchen. Damit Hard\u00adware in einem Rech\u00adner mit dem rest\u00adli\u00adchen Sys\u00adtem kom\u00admu\u00adni\u00adzie\u00adren kann, sind eben sol\u00adche Pro\u00adto\u00adkol\u00adle not\u00adwen\u00addig. NVMe ist die Basis f\u00fcr eine schnel\u00adle \u00dcber\u00adtra\u00adgung per PCIe (\u201ePeri\u00adphe\u00adral&nbsp;Com\u00adpo\u00adnent&nbsp;Inter\u00adcon\u00adnect&nbsp;Express\u201c). Die\u00adsen Stan\u00addard fin\u00addest du \u00fcbri\u00adgens auch h\u00e4u\u00adfig bei Gra\u00adfik- sowie Sound- und ande\u00adren Erweiterungskarten.<\/p>\n<p>Ma\u00df\u00adgeb\u00adlich an der Ent\u00adwick\u00adlung des NVMe-Pro\u00adto\u00adkolls betei\u00adligt ist Intel. Aber auch Spei\u00adcher\u00adher\u00adstel\u00adler wie San\u00adDisk, Sam\u00adsung und Sea\u00adgate ver\u00adber\u00adgen sich hin\u00adter der Tech\u00adnik. Begriff\u00adlich steht NVMe f\u00fcr \u201eNon-Vola\u00adti\u00adle&nbsp;Memo\u00adry&nbsp;Express\u201c. \u00dcber\u00adsetzt geht es also um nicht-fl\u00fcch\u00adti\u00adgen Spei\u00adcher. Bes\u00adser bekannt ist die\u00adser als Flash-Spei\u00adcher, wie er etwa auch in USB-Sticks und in Spei\u00adcher\u00adkar\u00adten zum Ein\u00adsatz kommt. In ers\u00adter Linie geht es hier um \u201eSolid-Sta\u00adte&nbsp;Dri\u00adves\u201c, kurz SSDs. In Rech\u00adnern sind sie nicht sel\u00adten f\u00fcr das Betriebs\u00adsys\u00adtem zust\u00e4n\u00addig. Dabei rei\u00adchen schon klei\u00adne\u00adre Gr\u00f6\u00ad\u00dfen wie 256 Giga\u00adbyte (GB) aus. Die Com\u00adpu\u00adter fah\u00adren so deut\u00adlich schnel\u00adler hoch als mit einer nor\u00adma\u00adlen Fest\u00adplat\u00adte. Statt SATA III, kommt hier eben eine U.2\/U.3\u2011Steckverbindung zum Ein\u00adsatz. Sie unter\u00adst\u00fctzt auch NVMe. Ent\u00adspre\u00adchen\u00adde Spei\u00adcher sind aller\u00addings nur schwer zu bekom\u00admen und meist teu\u00ader.
