Doch was bedeu\u00adtet das genau, was hat Micro\u00adsoft vor und kann das in Zukunft Schu\u00adle machen? Die Rede war von eins\u00adti\u00adgen Exklu\u00adsiv\u00adti\u00adteln f\u00fcr die Xbox, also eigent\u00adlich Kauf\u00adgr\u00fcn\u00adden f\u00fcr die haus\u00adei\u00adge\u00adne Hard\u00adware. Am 15.02. war es dann so weit: Micro\u00adsoft lud zu einer spe\u00adzi\u00adel\u00adlen Aus\u00adga\u00adbe des offi\u00adzi\u00adel\u00adlen Xbox-Pod\u00adcasts. Unter dem Titel \u201eUpdates on the Xbox Busi\u00adness\u201c stan\u00adden drei Per\u00adso\u00adnen aus der Chef\u00adeta\u00adge von Xbox Rede und Ant\u00adwort: Phil Spen\u00adcer, Sarah Bond und Matt Boo\u00adty. Gleich zum Start ging es dabei um das The\u00adma Exklusivit\u00e4t.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Spen\u00adcer kl\u00e4r\u00adte direkt auf, dass zun\u00e4chst vier Spie\u00adle ihren Weg auf ande\u00adre Kon\u00adso\u00adlen fin\u00adden sol\u00adlen. Die Titel woll\u00adte er aber zu die\u00adsem Zeit\u00adpunkt noch nicht nen\u00adnen, son\u00addern das den jewei\u00adli\u00adgen Stu\u00addi\u00ados \u00fcber\u00adlas\u00adsen. Aller\u00addings stell\u00adte Phil Spen\u00adcer auch klar, dass dadurch kei\u00adne \u201efun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adta\u00adle \u00c4nde\u00adrung an der Exklu\u00adsiv\u00adti\u00adtel-Stra\u00adte\u00adgie\u201c geplant sei. Anders gesagt: Auch in Zukunft soll es Exklu\u00adsiv\u00adti\u00adtel geben, viel\u00adleicht aber nicht mehr im gewohn\u00adten Umfang. Dabei geht es um das Grund\u00adprin\u00adzip, dass ein Spiel nicht ver\u00ad\u00f6f\u00adfent\u00adlicht wird und dann f\u00fcr sich steht, son\u00addern st\u00e4n\u00addig w\u00e4chst und sich in man\u00adchen F\u00e4l\u00adlen sogar wan\u00addelt. Das geht ein\u00adher mit einem neu\u00aden Modell der Finan\u00adzie\u00adrung. Live-Ser\u00advice bedeu\u00adtet meist eben auch, dass Spieler*innen \u00fcber In-Game-Shops neue Inhal\u00adte kau\u00adfen k\u00f6n\u00adnen oder sich einen Sea\u00adson-Pass holen, der eben\u00adfalls neue Gegen\u00adst\u00e4n\u00adde und Cos\u00adme\u00adtics mit sich bringt.<\/p>\n<p>Genau das macht in vie\u00adlen F\u00e4l\u00adlen den tat\u00ads\u00e4ch\u00adlich rele\u00advan\u00adten Teil der Ein\u00adnah\u00admen aus. EA Sports FC w\u00e4re etwa nicht so ren\u00adta\u00adbel, wenn es die Sam\u00admel\u00adkar\u00adten von \u201eUlti\u00adma\u00adte Team\u201c nicht h\u00e4t\u00adte, The Sims 4 finan\u00adziert sich mitt\u00adler\u00adwei\u00adle kom\u00adplett durch teu\u00adre Erwei\u00adte\u00adrun\u00adgen und Spie\u00adle, wie Call of Duty, bie\u00adten einen Batt\u00adle Pass, der zum Spie\u00adlen und regel\u00adm\u00e4\u00ad\u00dfi\u00adgen Geld\u00adaus\u00adge\u00adben motiviert.<\/p>\n<p>Was das nun f\u00fcr Micro\u00adsoft bedeu\u00adtet? Beschr\u00e4nkt das Unter\u00adneh\u00admen die Titel auf die eige\u00adnen Sys\u00adte\u00adme, ist das Publi\u00adkum klei\u00adner als es sein k\u00f6nn\u00adte. Im Umkehr\u00adschluss bedeu\u00adtet das auch, dass es weni\u00adger zah\u00adlen\u00adde Kund*innen f\u00fcr die Inhal\u00adte in den Hier gibt es aber schon lan\u00adge ein Pro\u00adblem: die Ger\u00e4\u00adte loh\u00adnen sich f\u00fcr ihre Her\u00adstel\u00adler gar nicht. Viel\u00admehr zah\u00adlen die in den meis\u00adten F\u00e4l\u00adlen sogar oben\u00addrauf. Grund daf\u00fcr sind die Kos\u00adten f\u00fcr Ent\u00adwick\u00adlung, Bau\u00adtei\u00adle, Dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon und vie\u00adlem mehr. Micro\u00adsoft ist also, wie auch Sony und Nin\u00adten\u00addo, auf den Ver\u00adkauf von Spie\u00adlen und Abo-Diens\u00adten ange\u00adwie\u00adsen, um Gewin\u00adne zu erzielen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Und genau hier hat Micro\u00adsoft ein Pro\u00adblem, denn im Ver\u00adgleich zur Play\u00adSta\u00adti\u00adon 5, die sich bis Ende Dezem\u00adber welt\u00adweit 52,65 Mil\u00adlio\u00adnen Mal ver\u00adkauf\u00adte, und der Nin\u00adten\u00addo Switch, die sogar 136,26 Mil\u00adlio\u00adnen Exem\u00adpla\u00adre ver\u00adkauft hat, sind die Zah\u00adlen der Xbox mit 27,23 Mil\u00adlio\u00adnen rela\u00adtiv gering. Auch Sony hat sich schon dazu hin\u00adrei\u00ad\u00dfen las\u00adsen, die eige\u00adnen Kon\u00adso\u00adlen-Gren\u00adzen in Tei\u00adlen zu spren\u00adgen.
